Looking at Ken Ham's batshit Creationist displays and Darren Aronofsky's Noah movie and graphic novel makes me want to write an isekai set in Old Mesopotamia, with pagan gods, biblically accurate angels, dragons that look like dinosaurs and demigods like Gilgamesh and Semiramis.

Did someone say high school vs current selves picrew?
Done.
(I was an elitist, (internalized) homophobic, Young Earth Creationist bitch in high school, btw. She and my current self would absolutely fight to the death.)

He also doesn't really talk about how Neanderthals, Denisovans, and other archaic humans factor into this either. All the dozens of different species and subspecies of humans bumping around the Earth during prehistory really messes up the Young Earth creationism model a ton.

A friend lent me a copy of their old Answers in Genesis (creationist) magazine and man, as a genetics major, it hurts to read. I'm cringing at the misleading and just flat out wrong info. It's a shame the art and diagrams look so professional.

As i paint i'm rewatching some old videos, and I found some about creationism; I'm having some kind of brain meltdown... is this what is like to live in a sect??... for the rest here is some paint in process 😂😅

The one element of Creationism I take the least seriously is the idea that every taxon that has ever evolved lived together in harmony. Each and every supposed transitional species walking side by side. You could reenact this iconic diagram if the others were willing to cooperate
