The funny thing about Cormack and Clancy is that Clancy (the yellow squash) was originally meant to just be a paler and chubbier pumpkin.

This was to add variety within the Cucurbites. But then I discovered that squashes belonged to the Cucurbita genus and looked like that so...

The best part about creating a race is being able to create many different looking characters within it.

Just like Coilean, the Cucurbites are all sentient Pumpkins with bodies made out of objects that you can find in a farm. Like a scarecrow.
