What I love about the Silmarillion is a lot of the story is just all these cousins dealing with the fallout of their family drama -Maedhros, Maglor, Fingon, Turgon, Finrod, Galadriel, Orodreth, Aredhel, Celegorm, Curufin, etc-just sitting around "our dads/uncles were F*CKED"
valinor days feat. the cousins
L ➡R (curufin, celegorm, aredhel) (fingon, caranthir, maedhros) (turgon, finrod, maglor)

- If the cast of #Silmarillion watched LOTR and TH movies -
Part 3: Thingol, Beleg, Celegorm, Curufin, Maedhros and Bonus
I always think Curufin died protecting his brother

Amrod and Amras are still living at Curufin's but he doesn't mind that much because Celebrimbor now has a pair of dedicated playmates, school tutors, babysitters and storytellers 24/7

Sunset in Himring. (Let’s pretend Curufin made a prosthesis for Maedhros so he can hold his cup :D
"King and father, wilt thou not restrain the pride of
our brother, Curufinwë, who is called the Spirit of Fire, all too truly?"

Feanorian Week Day 5: Curufin (Tyelpë as guest of course)

#Feanorianweek #5: Fealty
#Curufin lost lands and titles before, but he truly became dispossed when he betrayed #Finrod.

#Curufin didn't invent holy jewels or magical rungs, but he was really good at inventing trinkets and small machines...
While this was just a pastime back in valinor it really helped him once he had to mass produce weapons and construct fortifications.
