Bra’s age on the other hand isn’t specified in the original manga, which leads to internal confusion in Daizenshuu 7 as to whether she’s a year older or younger than Pan. Ultimately Super sealed the deal for her being the younger of the two.

It’s in the manga too (using 地球人/Earthling, translated by Viz as “human”). This predates the daizenshuu mentioning Tien’s alien ancestry, and from an in-universe perspective it’s doubtful Yamcha would know about that anyway

But getting back to in-universe concerns, Daizenshuu 6 places DBZ Movie 6 as happening approximately between Cell’s broadcast and the Cell Games, based on Dende-as-god, Goku’s logo-free dōgi, and Vegeta going Super Saiyan.

Trunks initially estimates Goku’s recovery time as roughly 10 days, but in fact the narrator says a total of three days pass, at which point Goku wakes up. Accordingly, the Daizenshuu 7 timeline dates this to May 15th, three days after all the excitement on May 12th.

By now it’s the afternoon (per Daizenshuu 7). Cell attacks Ginger Town. Piccolo and Kami merge and somewhat cleverly trick Cell into revealing all. Cell escapes, but Trunks+Kuririn investigate Gero’s lab, where they destroy the present day larval Cell and obtain 17’s blueprints.

In fact, the Daizenshuu timeline has Vegeta’s healing finish on December 13th, over three weeks after he began on November 21st. What’s that about? The assumption seems to be that it must take Vegeta 5 days to reach Namek, since that’s how long the Ginyu Force take to arrive.

(Daizenshuu 4 notes that Saiyan tails seem to regrow specifically during moments of crisis, such as here and during Goku’s match with Giran. Is this a coincidence, or another of their handy superpowers?)

3 23

Goku briefly returns to his home and then heads over to Roshi’s. There’s no explicit indication that any further days have passed, so Daizenshuu 7 puts this on September 10th, the same day he left Bulma and co.

1 19

September 7th: Yamcha attacks again, fails again, and decides to try a less direct approach. This is explicitly shown as the next day after Yamcha’s first appearance, but Daizenshuu 7 accidentally lumps this in with all the September 9th stuff

Prior to his death, Gohan had trained Goku in the martial arts, including his trademark Rock-Paper-Scissors technique. Daizenshuu 7’s technique dictionary also speculates that Goku might’ve received some ki training from Gohan, which is how he mastered the Kamehameha so fast.
