Trying new and old methods for drawing stuff...
Lately I've just been trying to be more intentional with my color choices & focal points
I put a bunch of eyes together and there's definitely some aspects I've kept, some I've discarded, some I'm still not sure about...
When redesigning your characters, do you discard the old design completely? Or do you keep it in the wardrobe of your mind?
Personally, I keep this old Shygal design of mine for whenever I feel like drawing one...
Localizers don't need to do anything because there will always be some morons who'll defend them no matter what, while eating whatever slop localizers cook for them. So do not try to reason with or patronize these morons. Just take their opinions and discard them into the trash.

2020 vs 2024
Started in SFM, then switched to Blender in 2021. From there I've been trying to improve the perceived quality of the models and the scene.
The only drawback: it takes me longer to finish them, and I discard many others because I feel they aren't "artistic enough".

Me from a year ago probably would keep drawing this but me today feel like it won't turn out exceptionally good so this probably will be discarded. But at least, I was brave enough to redraw the body 3 times and get the body shape that I really like compared to the first attempt.
