A dakoner nomad in some relatively common attire for the pastoralist drekir.
Wool woven from the wyrms fibers is their trademark skill, being master weavers on the move.
They believe the skulls of their wyrms allow god to see through their eyes, wearing one proves their faith
While drekir are a polygamous species that has no maternal instincts (just make more kids, don't worry about the ones here) Ormer are far more careful with their children, forming close parental bonds with their kids
While most drekir are hunter gatherers, the less numerous but great Sivilāo realms are primarily agricultural, domesticating animals and plants to feed their thousands of drekir, ormer, and mavotur.
Here are some of their crops! The ones farmed vary realm to realm but anywho
Some drekir harvesting a lucky kill on the great Caribbean Gator (a small one here)
The hunting party is cutting themselves some dinner before the coming flurry where the whole village will get together to harvest as much meat hide and bones as they can before it begins to rot
A lil doodle for background practice.
The drekir of a village in what was once Illinois starting up their morning, sunbasking, bringing some hunts from last night, painting murals and generally bustling about the day to day
Steamhouses are a common luxury found in many cultures and villages across the dragonscape. From simple mud huts to ornately built saunas.
Cold blooded drekir are naturally attracted to and take pleasure in the hot and humid steamhouse. These are common places to relax from a day
Still gonna draw until I get the operation, too important.
More work on the fisherdrake google doc.
Generally these michigan drekir refer to their boats as "Tiahries" (from the sivilao word, Tura), these wide rotund boats are brought into the great lake for cast net fishing

Drekir do benefit from having someone else to reach areas a drek can't reach, such as a backpack or to tie on tail bags. Drekir benefit from having others around to work together in mutual aid for the daily problems of ergonomics
Drekir are very fast runners, capable of sprinting up to 30mph!
However, drekir are fast, though they don't turn well and even when moving slow need a lot of space to turn around. At high speeds turning to sharp can cause a crash.
they're fast, but only in one direction
While breathrowing is used in warfare a much more common and daily use is utility.
Being able to start a fire without rubbing sticks together for example is a huge utility that many drekir enjoy the benefit of
breathrowing various elements can be very beneficial for it's utility
Magic is an everyday tool
It is used by drekir for utility like starting fires, communication (seen here in the sky isles), and even propelling boats, among other things.
It also has cultural and religious importance to many cultures in varying fashions

Una surñera con la mascara de la niebla, tambien una ballesta
Crossbows are rare, but powerful weapons for the primitive societies of the drekir. They are crude and simple, though allow a drek to use their legs to cock it, meaning they can get better draw strengths than with bows
Warfare in the DragonScape is uncommon, due to the small populations of drekir that can't really afford casualties. But conflicts do still happen for various reasons.
Warfare tends to be brief, involving small groups of drekir (10-15 per side) and are resolved quickly.
For most drekir in the DragonScape, technology is primitive neolithic tools of stone, wood, bone, and other natural materials like giant insect parts
Drekir often turn to magic to help make up for their primitive tools, dragon magic and simple mana materials like spellglass/flint
In this DragonScape, many of the 1st gen drekir, who were humans from 2018, would create new cults and religions to try and explain what had happened. Most drekir are superstitious and take part in various cults.
Over time, new dialects/creoles will grow from prepulse languages
A pitch for a friend by an alternate DragonScape for a drek soldier
"Instead of a post apocalypse, what if armies of Aetherpunk magic dragons invaded our world to conquer it?"
So here is a Par Gunlancer, mainline fighters of the Polmver Drekir Infantry, phalanx gunners
Some more Aethergunny drekir.

Javelins are pretty ergonomic weapons for drekir and it's one of those hunting/fishing/warfare weapons that shows up almost everywhere and in almost any era.
some level 1 mana equipment for a human and, if that human failed wearing that equipment and got drekified. A basic dreksuit. Drekir, being dragons, can tolerate a lot more mana exposure than humans and at this level they won't utilize mana protection. This is basic protection.
Working on some drawings for the DragonScape Website! as well as a small short story involving two colonial Australians in rural Appalachia interviewing some of the local drekir and their growing dialect!
