Grey- grey symbolizes matury, windom, and resignation aswell as dullness and dreariness. I have one oc with grey eyes but it fits him perfectly! Theo is very calm and always seems to know the answers to any problem. He Is ready to help, but must come out of his shell to do so..

It think the main issue is the dullness, if the greenish/blue tint of platinum were to be kept in gold's accents, perhaps giving it a more gemstone-like gleam (like Azir's gemstone accents) would make it pop more. And adding more of an orange brightness to the gold would help!
