I always wondered why I had such bad spatial awareness, and always ended up bumping into things. Turns out it was dyspraxia. Honestly, so much of my life made more sense after figuring that out.

When I made this comic I had zero idea what dyspraxia, let alone that I had it. It's so nice to have an answer to my clumsiness now.

I guess would be that I’m a relatively decent artist.

I was born with Dyspraxia- a disability that affects hand-eye coordination. Things like writing, drawing or even walking straight can be very difficult for me. But I pushed through and managed to become an ok artist.

This is Josie and Piper, and Josie has dyscalculia. makes it tricky to learn and understand numbers, however this doesn't make her any less smart than her classmates📚

Despite being more common for women to be is often cited as being more common in boys. Women are much more likely to receive their diagnosis in adulthood after having missed out on support in school. This can be costly and many forgo diagnosis as a result.

i don't see how what is likely mild dyspraxia means developmental delays but i mean im 31 and still uncoordinated with poor fine motor control so maybe theres some truth to that. but the emotional dysregulation should probably be higher tbh What Are Feelings https://t.co/F4AHvqFqwm

Thank you for this, OP ❤️

I’m disabled (iPad-only art below; tryna clean my house, comp’s off)—I’ve got dysgraphia (& dyspraxia), I’m wheelchair-bound arthritic, & I’m ND; combo that & it means hand writing (+ trad drawing) physically hurts!

I'm not autistic,

I do have dyspraxia and an uncommon form of ADD however.

I just liked the picture cause I'm AWOO-tistic.
