One thing I really appreciate about this is the attention paid to the GBC and GBA’s color palettes.

Many emulators and every IPS screen still default to the harsh base colors and don’t account for the original screens’ softer palettes. Even the Analogue Pocket gets this wrong. https://t.co/QTCpP1k85S

I revisited 1&2 recently on an emulator with hd textures and I just love how the games sell you on being on an alien world. The fact that you can scan and learn about each creature gives the world that extra bit of flare/respect

I only use WASD for platformers that also use mouse to aim. Before controller, I played emulators, original fan-translated Cave Story (cleared Hell!), IWBTG (unfinished), and Super Meat Boy (painfully) with arrow keys

Super Meat Boy made me buy a controller JUST for it 🥲🤣

Nope! I actually extracted him from the official game using a plugin, a 3d model extractor, and the dolphin emulator along with the actual iso, all i had to do was add his textures and implement better weight painting
