Sometimes I get so swirled up in my deadlines that I get super stressed. It's amazing that simply drawing something for myself will relieve so much.
This is Prom, my mha OC. Quirk: Enzyme. He can digest anything and turn it into compost.
First time in color!
Damaged DNA? No problem, just call RecBCD! It is an enzyme that fixes DNA and is also regulated by a DNA sequence known as ‘Chi’ that activates the enzyme activity when needed

Cytochrome P450s are our 14th #PDB50structures. This heme-containing superfamily are the terminal enzymes in a host of electron transfer chains, for example this structure 2cpp: https://t.co/zbiKTjscBP
Our third #PDB50structures is the most prevalent in the PDB archive. There are over 1000 structures of Lysozyme, an antimicrobial enzyme, in the PDB archive. View all the structures of chicken Lysozyme at #PDBeKB: https://t.co/77Hp4cIHQy
12 - Wall!
The cell wall protects a bacterium and is mostly responsible for its shape. Penicillin is an antibiotic that interferes with cell wall construction enzymes and causes the cell to lyse. #Microber2021
Very cool digital rendering of DNA interstrand crosslinks (red sticks) and the DNA repair enzyme (YcaQ; red blob) we characterized performing unhooking of those ICLs (yellow sticks).
We've got two pubs on this enzyme superfamily coming up!

We developed protocols for the prediction & design of cofactor specificity in Rossmann enzymes. Our work may be interesting for researchers focused on enzyme design and/or utilizing Graph Neural Networks in representing protein structures: https://t.co/W8oaz8ofjy

Laccase, an extra-cellular enzyme that shapes nutrient balance in the soil. For prompt: earthly.
Hoping to make it at least a week of #SciArtSeptember
Almost ready to release our NEWEST video 🎉 - it explores enzyme examples, inhibitors, and feedback inhibition. It builds on our intro enzyme video (from 2016).

Something about enzymes, those engineers of the cell.
And a little jab at myself and what I consume...
Supercomputer simulations @TACC and @SDSC_UCSD revealed synergy of two enzymes that biodegrade PET plastic, found in water bottles and carpets. Scientists hope research can inform future cocktail-based strategies for plastic upcycling. https://t.co/Y3JtHHvxqa @XSEDEscience @NREL

similarly, Lysobacter are motile cells that glide on a layer of secreted slime, swarming toward larger prey in "wolf-pack" style. Each individual secretes enzymes that serve as extracorporeal "jaws" to attack the membrane of prey cells, collectively rupturing them!
Gastric mucus, bicarbonate secretions and the epithelial cells (which secrete the mucus) in our stomach, prevent the stomach from effectively digesting itself under the action of the acid and digestive enzymes active within the stomach lumen [read more: https://t.co/P2B54OwCUB]
Did a quick sketch of Enzyme for myself to cool down after commissions ^^
I really appreciate retweets on my art, it helps a lot (and comments/likes too) ! ❤️🖤🤍
@Blackmudpuppy We would just replace all of our dairy with crop milk. Crop milk on our cereal, add a little bacteria and enzymes to the crop milk for some cheese.
qrt with your favorite pieces ehe
ty for tagging me my swagger little enzyme 😤😤 i remember when i could still finish big pieces wow the good old days 🤐✋
@peausol @silllapepino @noyll0pa share ur art if you want https://t.co/HKWcQjhhnY
