I dunno why but I was struggling to figure out what kind of background I wanted this to have. Initially it was just a boring room. Then I made it the balcony on a lunar capital tower, but that felt out of place. So it's just this big, white expanse.

Personally I give a 3mm overlap on any spreads so when it opens in a softback book it gives the illusion of continuous artwork. A magazine/staple bound comic doesn't need this as it opens to the full expanse.
