Literally EVERYONE was shitting on the movie, the moment they announced it was going to be animated by Illumination, people were making fan made posters making fun how they market their films, and even made designs that have Illumination-isk propartations.

Like those last two Heisei Godzilla films, pre-opening day tickets to the 90s Mothra films came with a colorful clear file. I saw all 3 Mothra films on opening day in Osaka and, truth be told, I haven't revisited them since. I need to rectify that. Here are scans I made tonight.
@ACriticalHuman I really enjoyed most of these films, but I feel Tom and Jerry:The Movie would’ve been better if they made the 90’s movie closer to the charm and slapstick,over-the-top feel of the original 40’s cartoon skits and let Tom and Jerry be themselves and not have them talk.

He only wore his Cape in 7/20 of his appearances across films, shorts, and commercials

The final film based on the Chinese novel ‘Ghost Blows Out the Light’ - not actually connected to the other two Mojin films, more of a rival. Actually released before the first of the other two and more of an origin story.
