Just honing my ability to draw backgrounds/environments. The problem with perspective is that it's hard to find videos/tutorials that explain things in a clear, easy-to-understand way.

It's my most lacking skill, I believe. That and foreshortening. :P

Remember when I asked for my mutuals' OCs to draw them poorly? Perfect way to do quick drawings! ✏️✨ And practice foreshortening. And vector lines. And if I make lines, I could color them 🎨 And... then I kinda failed at the "poorly" part of this, oops! No regrets, though 😎💕

The last part of the puzzle was drawing the J.E.F.F. Mech! I am really excited with how it turned out. I really tried to push the perspective and foreshortening. It was drawn directly on top of a preliminary render of the scene and then inserted as a 2D plane.

Normally my drawings are quite flat because I struggle with foreshortening. The first sketch was very flat and my bf encouraged me to make it more interesting by using foreshortening on the chainsaw, to make the character more intimidating. 1/2

If I was the sort of person that could draw backgrounds, I would have drawn some beer taps on the bar. Foamy head on Trunks/Goten’s beers...and other head. Lol, still foiled by anatomy and foreshortening.

I think my favorite weapon to draw is a sword, but I'm not a huge fan of drawing weapons in general. I HATE polearms like spears, axes, ect. I always have trouble with the foreshortening.
