This sketch is my freaking pride and joy. I freehanded this entire thing and if that’s not impressive I don’t know what is. I have zero formal training and I probably paint “wrong” with both watercolor and acrylics (this is acrylics) but who cares?

immediately thought of putting some decorations on the coat lapels so i freehanded some designs and made it look like it's metal pieces

Another great trick is you can start tracing odd shapes and elevations right onto it. I freehanded the perspective and it would have worked better if I used @ConceptsApp guides, but for a quick and dirty rendering to convey an idea it worked great!
