ik Ginrei gets tied up and barefoot in her little OVA sequel series that came out in the middle of Giant Robo's releases but she's easily the weakest character in the series and I would rather see Yoshi tied up and barefoot instead.

These are all good points, but I wish Ginrei didn’t have to function as Daisaku’s spokesperson. This would be an excellent time for her to grapple her own issues. But she continually redirects the attention back to Daisaku, much to the detriment of her own characterization.
