Morality systems used to be everywhere in video games between the 6th and 7th generation of hardware, and then suddenly... they weren't.

Why did they suddenly just disappear?

(I know the reason. I'm curious if you do.)

Finally purchased a good drawing tablet. I did this Tailsmo redraw as a swift test of the new hardware, and I'm happy with how it turned out! Didn't use the Bezier Curve Tool at all!

Sadly the CPU no longer connects to its hardware, my PC is technically broken. Before it finally gives out, I send the important files to my google drive, so hopefully, I could continue making the rest of the comics.

There's a new article up on the Cryptodex, where we delve into the concept of baby Pokemon, Octopus military hardware, and Penguin Santa Claus. I hope you enjoy it!

Since it’s seemed only appropriate to repost this art I did for and awhile back! Frankly, goblins shouldn’t be left only with ANY kind of hardware, let alone hardware that can inflate!

I'm playing ZX emulated on my phone with a controller. Even though this isn't original hardware, the sprites just look way better on a smaller resolution like this. The Legacy Collection is great and all, but the sprites look a lot smoother on small resolutions.

Throw out the hardware, let’s do this right.

Some personality-types in the retro-gaming community (heck, online in general), have a tendency to say "I do it this way. This is the way. All other ways are s**t!" But heck, whatever way you choose to enjoy it: real hardware, CRT, LCD, FPGA, software emulator, it's all good.

I realize I have no idea what to reply because I have nothing to talk about and I have zero confidence in my interests.
Maybe some shmup-related tierlists or music production and soundchips/hardware, or underground electronic music...
(Oh god please suggest me something)

So aside from being a game from nintendo, a company that gives no shit about their consumers nor the issues that come from their hardware, you want to support a game that has characters from games that Nintendo has not given 2 cents to think about over the years?

I guess I should share some stuff for Digital art is just one of the things I do but I've really been trying to get better for the past year! Here are some drawings of mine I still like:

Examining the curious rotary cannons of Macross. As is the case for most Macross technology, it is a fun melange of retro military hardware, current technology and future science fiction. Art by Shoji Kawamori. GU-17A by SoftBank. Colors by me

...the robot, but her phasing abilities prove ineffective at overcoming his hardware, launching the girl backwards and headlong toward a steel girder, rescued by Rogue with moments to spare.

Obviously, a lot of later X-Men canon takes its inspiration from Claremont's Run, but...

It becomes an exercise in re-inventing the wheel.

It's honestly pretty doable on current hardware, just... not practical with current tools.

Too much re-making basic things just to meet the demands of VR.

You need simple tools to make complex things.

VR isn't simple yet.
