Monsters come in three rarities: Common, Rare & Unique.
To capture them you use consumable crystals during combat. The less Hitpoints the monster has, the more likely you succeed to catch it!

My DnD babies recently had their first kiss in the Underdark after years of pining. Rylen was taken to zero hitpoints twice by the Blight spell and an arrow in her back and Corwin had to watch. After the battle he decided to make a move before one of them actually died. #ocs
