It's ma'am's birthday. She is one of the warmest and kindest artists and I had the good fortune to spend time with. The crippling homesickness between the bustling film set would feel a lot less whenever she was around 🥺

Since the pandemic's severely limited how much traveling I do I've had bouts of homesickness, which is a bummer. But it has lead me to make a lot more art inspired by my home region which I never really did before.

Aww, you poor little thing. Homesickness is normal, you just miss your home, I felt that whenever I am away from my home.

Imprisoned Crimean Tatar activist Seiran Saliiev creates drawings of his homeland.

By means of art he, like his ancestors deported from Crimea in 1944, expresses homesickness.

Only for his activism, Seiran was imprisoned on trumped-up terrorism charges.

Good to see that frog nun is out of homesickness and now being her usual self.

Unfortunately--

presumably frog nun fell to the care of rabbit nun after she was introduced to the nunnery. in this instance, I assume she just gave frog nun comfort food and let her cry it out.

probably she too knows the feeling of homesickness.

Somedays the homesickness hits me harder than others. I guess grief is like that.

Take care of yourselves tonight 💜

Her other pieces are mystic & powerful - check her out!
Plus she beautifully wrote about being a digital illustrator 👉https://t.co/xs5V38bdqQ

Local tempest cleric packs his own lunch. He’s from the surface ocean in a world that consists mostly of floating islands, so he abates his homesickness primarily by eating stuff that used to make him happy when he was young.
