As expected, I have also been approached by the master scholars. Though I was kept to Brightlocke Keep as much as possible, I will need my own immunization. I'll be quarantined to my room or the outer courtyard until I receive the required dose. No library access until then. 😖
Goddess be praised! Kali has returned, and so far seems to be doing well enough after his immunization! Continued prayers on his behalf are welcome, as the next few days could be interesting for him. But I am grateful to have him back and in one piece!

Until lots of medicine (immunization) we need to continue to keep each other safe and do our part to follow public health guidance. Be sure to:
-Wash hands often
-Wear a mask
-Stay 2 metres
-No gatherings

I've been trying to get a certain piece done over the past couple of days, but I got my immunization shot yesterday and the current vibe is:

#OTD in 1885, Louis Pasteur and his colleagues injected the first rabies vaccine into 9-year-old Joseph Meister, who had been severely bitten by a rabid dog 2 days before. The immunization was successful. #OthmerLibrary https://t.co/sD3hOgOxiZ
At the beginning of the year I worked with WHO on their Immunization Week campaign, making a series of illustrations for different media. It was a frenzy, since we had a high number of deliverables and a tight schedule but we made it. #illustration #editorial
Because I have lost track of the days I missed #worldimmunizationweek but immunization is always important, every day of the week, now more than ever. #VaccinesWork for all. @WHO @gatesfoundation #VaccinesSaveLives
