To celebrate Indigenous Peoples’ Day, I have drawn a variety of indigenous Diné (Navajo) women! Plus myself!

There is a lot of diversity to what an indigenous woman looks like, so I want to celebrate that!

When I began to connect to my Taino roots, I made this image. I then created a character that embodied this idea & wrote a book about how she loves to help folks find their smile. Being Indigenous means I have alot to learn & this art helps me along the way.

For I wanted to showcase all of the beautiful Indigenous Art I’ve had the honor of collecting. Buying Indigenous Art allows me to appreciate the history and culture of my Native friends and is one small way i can help preserve their valuable heritage🙏🏽
