The Vale of Wales, Chapter 7, Page 5; For context, the Vale of Glamorgan is described in my research as a county borough. In my stories, one of these select tunnels connect it to Dargan, creating one big Vale...a Vale of Wales, if you will ;)

In 1908 Olivia Tonge, a grandmother from Glamorgan, said 'Lo, will I now paint'. So she went to alone, and painted. Her glorious sketchbooks are full of flora and fauna, jewellery, and clay toy turtles with legs and heads that waggle.
