I crashed and burned by not following the compass, trying to put the north somewhere else, then the centre peice broke off. I found the black box and learned..i realigned myself..this bird is ready.
Someone commissioned me to make these two but I was fooled. Despite all the hours and the effort I put into it, I don't feel it as a waste of time, I keep what I learned.
So, to that person who deceived me, if you see this THANK YOU!!!

I've been gathering Rebecca Parham reference images and just spent hours staring at it because I want to make 3D fanart of it in a new style I learned.
But I haven't started because I'm TERRIFIED of fucking it up, because I'll still show it regardless.

@Qballin27 DW, lesson learned. But for now I am really considering opening comms back up just so I can have some spare scratch so I can comm them.
Now I just gotta figure out where to find the time.
I may not have drawn as much in '22 compared to '21 but it was a great year where I created cool projects with the things I've learned.
For this new year, 2023, it's gonna be about gripping confidence in what I already have, and challenging misty miles.

Happy New Year! I have always thought not to have painted enough over the year and therefore never made a summary. But look here! I've forgotten about half and so in total I'm very surprised and proud of all the works from last year and what I've learned.
