A fun commission I got from ! That I threw a little color on :3. Cassie narrowly avoids becoming a meal... by becoming a temporary one for Samantha. Good thing they're friends...

29 September 1654, Oliver Cromwell narrowly escaped death or serious injury during a coaching accident in Hyde Park, the crash also causing a loaded pistol in his pocket to go off! Equestrian portrait of Cromwell c.1657 in our collection.

Guess I kind of almost possibly missed
!

Lucky for me I only narrowly missed it.

Happy comic book day!

Back to my first proper portrait of Lornán, the fey Eidolon of my Summoner Orelia. Recently we learned that he might have been a bird friend?familiar?companion? to a faerie queen who got murdered and he only narrowly escaped death by finding Orelia.
Nice twist on that backstory

This is my Darkest Character Zurri. She's a Kyal (Fetchling) Wizard who was born in Nidal - country devoted to the evil Deity Zon Kuthon. Her parents were obvious follows of him, though they were murdered when she was young. She ran away, narrowly escaping the country.

reigen winning all the polls he wasn’t even qualified for and just narrowly losing the one he actually was is the funniest possible outcome

CAPTAIN AMERICA (v4) Captain America narrowly survives another run-in with the terrorists, all of them wearing the CATtags that SHIELD also uses. Nick Fury isn’t offering up any answers, so Cap will have to take his crusade on the road.

and now begins the rest of the poll!

in 56th and 55th place respectively are the only characters that narrowly avoided receiving zero votes: RIICHI CHIEDA and SHOKO NADAMI (1 vote each)
shoko spent a good chunk of the poll being the only character with zero votes, too

also, i finished a comm for ! it’s his OC, Phantom, fighting Solomon Grundy ( and being narrowly missed by one of his punches lol )

In this evening's Endgame Red narrowly prevented the rise of an ancient evil... something from the swamps of CheltNam. Via the licking of skulls.

to be fair it's a very easy mistake to make!! one is a one-eyed, one-armed entity of living vengeance who's very narrowly saved from a fate worse than death by her wife Anji Mito,

And the other is a bubbly ray of sunshine who uses dual yoyos and a teddy bear

Narrowly beating Ichiro, Eiji takes first place. If both boys got into a battle, they would probably both be annihilated each other, with Eiji likely to survive, but borderline dead. Taught by two hashira, he is the most powerful slayer.

Finally updated my sprite
SQWAA!!! has been through so much!
They have been my longest active character I’ve made yet! Somehow narrowly avoiding death for 6 years and stealing anything that glitters with little to no consequences (unless you count the death of a few crew members)

Aaand we have our winner! Narrowly beating out Hockey Penguin in the last few hours by a single vote. I think I'll start drawing their full model and rigging tomorrow! Might stream that. Will keep y'all posted!

Tatsunaga from Dragon Quest XI. First try didn't have whole party and was demolished. Came back later and even with preparation I narrowly beat this boss. I think Sylvando was my only remaining character.

I narrowly missed out on this, the amazing Autumn Queen by and 😢

Luckily they’ve agreed a private commission for me. Can’t wait to see it 😁

Defenses on the edge of the mists go off all around as Crown the warforged narrowly defeats his opponent atop the train, leaping through lightning & explosions with his warforged "foe" on his back to the boulder-like elemental tumbler that Ash the shifter is driving in pursuit.
