Nehalennia: Good morning, Izumo.

Izumo: Oh... Morning, Nehalennia.

Nehalennia: KYAAAAAAA~❤ You're so cute for greeting me like that!

Izumo: *sighs heavily* I didn't... I didn't even do anything though...

Nehalennia is so fun to talk about despite me not introducing her in the current GH story yet. Her thirst for our MC Izumo is fucking golden to me.

GRAND HIGHLANDER FUN FACT:

Nehalennia is the only owner of any type of Izumo-related merchandise: a crudely made small chibi Izumo doll created by her personally and white thigh high socks with Izumo's name along the sides. She plans to obtain more items in the future.

Kuzunoha and Nehalennia are classified as two of the most dangerous beings in the world of GH. Minazuki claims that even she along with the other founding members of the Rokugatsu Oukoku can't beat even one of them and the organization is said to never engage in battle with them.

Nehalennia's origin is a covert horror I wish I could write about. A queen's pathological fear of age & ugliness causes her to enact death upon her subjects, later living with their animated corpses after essentially devouring their souls to stay young and beautiful.

Nehalennia- Celtic Goddess of the sea

Sometimes found in the Germanic pantheon, she's associated most with the trading and shipping of cargo overseas. She's often depicted with a dog by her side. Are you familiar with this goddess?

A standard Dream Mirror was pink in color, but a mirror belonging to Kamoi in episode 156 was grey. This was because Kamoi betrayed his dream. Chibi-Usa possessed the Golden Mirror since she was Pegasus' host, and Nehalennia's Dream Mirror was black.

Queen Nehalennia (aka Nehellenia) might be based on Nehalennia, a Celtic or Germanic goddess venerated by seafarers. Images of her seated with a dog at her feet were found on votive altars in Zeeland.
