Here’s a small art trade I did with . He wanted me to draw Mrs. Brusby from Secrets of NIMH. I remember watching the movie as a kid and being totally weirded out by the dark undertones. All in all, it’s still a great movie and a cult classic.

I’ve spoken before of how much I love Mrs. Brisby the main heroine from The Secret of NIMH, and a lot of that is owed to the lovely performance by her actress Elizabeth Hartman who gave life to the shy but courageous mother of four who goes to great lengths to protect her family!

Director & animator Don Bluth was born in 1937. Best known for such films as The Secret of NIMH, Bluth had wanted to create an animated adaptation of East of the Sun, West of the Moon but couldn't get the resources to make the film.
