I couldn't figure out why shading wasn't working. I THOUGHT I had 1 from the pic below. But a second stroke ontop the first produced the white patches as seen in 2. I HAVEN'T CHANGED ANY SETTINGS AND CAN'T FIND THIS ONE.

See that’s the thing! I always tried to make my lineart perfect but people pointed out they like my sketches better so I make cleaner sketches ontop of my rough sketches. And sometimes I just use the original sketch! I go nuts with the colouring and it feels much better. Examples

6: The heard ontop of the tentacles is because they used to be the 2 tentacles covering my other side of the face. due to perspective and expansion in both chest and length of tentacles, I moved them up.
They are a very old sign because I used to draw highlights as hearts.
