More progress on the high poly. Wanted to know you guys' thoughts on the shoulder pads/pauldrons. Since I'm not putting as many lights, I thought I would add a different detail to them. I also added some detail on the inside just above where her shoulder is.

Thinking about switching the colors around on his blade... Maybe to match the violet in his eyes/pauldron?

Or even a seering hot orange... especially for sparks!

cookie run as a stylistic genre uses pauldrons quite frequently in their designs.. but now that i look at it clotted creams actually looks like an epaulette? his is more metallic though, so i can’t say for certain

Some color variations of another mech design. The gear is probably out of genre a bit. I had an earlier version with a spiked pauldron that pulled the concept together a bit better.

something ive never really mentioned(but get asked alot) is why i developed that "sunburst" shading- it was actually born out of frustration of space marine pauldrons having too much empty space that i had to fill it out, eventually i used this method to shade most armor surfaces
