In the english speaking community, we tend to call this kind of style chibi(ちび) which is a word that came from Japanese, but the Japanese speaking community uses SD(super deformed) or デフォルメ(deformed) way more often than chibi(ちび)

Speaking of Gundam, I really enjoyed Unicorn (left). The 80s style of art was nostalgic & the animation's fluid, especially for the action scenes. Hathaway put me to sleep though. Could not understand half of what's happening. Art's really good but i was totally lost 😅.
