The giant keeps marching, millenia after it's first stride across the lands. The penitents follow it's steps, chanting and praying around the temple of a god that is long gone.

Καλημέρα.Elisabetta Sirani (8 January 1638 – 28 August 1665) was an Italian painter-Maria maddalena penitented
@SHelmigh Thank you for the opportunity! I painted these based on El Greco's Penitent Magdalene, and Carracci's Pieta, of a Tarnished falling for the Frenzied Flame in his despair, and how his lover perceives his decision to forsake everything (OCs of @/VenenumTea and mine).
Divine Eyes of Mercy Weep for the Impenitent Sinner or The Angel for short. Lawful good aasimar cleric of light, she awoke on what was once called Earth centuries after the rapture of the dark gods. Silent, gay, confused.
I can't choose between these two pieces! I based the first piece on El Greco's Penitent Magdalene (1576-1578), and the second on Carracci's Pieta (c. 1600). I've learnt a lot painting these, about colours, rendering, about what interests me, what I envision and wish to paint. https://t.co/Cq2RGKVZ9d
Try another lady dress & knight armor mix.
the hennin combined with bascinet really looks like the Penitent One from Blasphemous🗿
@Lord_Boofhead @wrhollingsworth @BlackCathedral1 @Pantmonger @BitsHammer @ZeroSeneca @KremlinKOA @KrisOwrey @dolorousnick Yeah, the faction that wears all black colors, straps people to penitent engine torture devices to kill, is the main enforcer of a despotic state religion and are constantly obsessed with heresy and thought crimes, has no bdsm elements.
@ZfireArt Kai Megas, his "father," Alphonse. The twins Dolci & Verdi, and I don't know if you count Mechs; but here's a Penitent Adjudicator.

@VenenumTea's Astolfo seeing the light that promises answers to his prayers.
And solace to all the suffering this world had to endure.
What ℎ𝑒 had to endure.
Based on one of my favourite paintings, El Greco's Penitent Magdalene, made between 1576–1578.
