i honestly wish D&D would lean harder into Magic crossover stuff. the settings deserve more use than they get in a TCG and the novelty is fun! the average plane has a much more interesting lineup than the familiar PHB suspects.
2E doesn’t get a ton of love these days, but man oh maaaaan did I love the cover to the 2E PHB. Just looking at it now fills me with memories of sitting around the table in my teens & twenties, rolling the dice with friends. The cover by Jeff Easley is so definitive & perfect.
Throwing together designs for baby's first PHB-compliant 5e Fighter (with big thanks to @flexmcflipster for artistic feedback & subclass suggestions)
@Rohan_312 Fair and probably considered since they know one of the factors that got them where they are now is CR.
But I always thought KeKe's design was very reminiscent of the Druid in the PHB of both 5th and 3.5e... so it feels cyclical to me
Topaz Crusader rejected sketch for a 4e D&D book (PHB2 I think). The one they chose was better, but I always kind of liked this.
6. Todd Lockwood. My introduction to D&D was seeing a buddy's 3rd edition PHB and becoming instantly fascinated by the artwork, particularly Lockwood's character work.
We've got more than 40 Gamer Dilbert pages up on Patreon depicting Wally's struggle to manage the new engineering department after the departure of Alice, Dilbert, and the PHB.

ROLL FOR INITIATIVE: Cleric!! 🐾🌟
Comet is ready to roll as every class in the handbook--follow along to see them all! Which class from the PHB do you want to see next?
@Vlad_Stakeumms Mine was my namesake, Toma. He was a 3.5 ed level 34 Shifter druid/ranger/warshaper/hierophant that I ran from level 1-34 over the course of a 4 year campaign. I used the shapeshift alt class feature from PHB2.
He was the first character that I really cared about beyond stats.

Finished off the armor rules for Bhakashal, I have made some changes to the classification of armor in the PHB and DMG, added custom movement and initiative modifiers for heavier armor, and I've tweaked shields and added shield proficiency rules.
Details later, bedtime now...

Do you do everything the PHB tells you?
/🧵Oh, one last thing:
If you have a non-humanoid character, I absolutely do nonhuman chars, from the dnd races in the phb to cute little critters in adventure gear.
Here are some examples:

Bhakashal builds on AD&D, leaning in to its intricacies to build a rich world. The 1e PHB has a curse spell that lists a few possible curses, Bhakashal lists 130 potential curses for inspiration.
