Wait... what? Wow.
Neurons in human skin affect pigmentation...

Pigmentation of skin might be regulated by previously overlooked cells or structures in the skin

It’s all about the eyes and the pigmentation on the skin! My favorite elements to paint on female figures!

I have an important question, if a fairy had vitiligo would there be depigmentation on their wings?
Threw some blur onto the image to make it ✨️dreamy✨️ not sure if it worked but oh well

Also it can occur because of albinism and ocular albinism(which both can effect the eyes it’s just that ocular albinism can still occur even while there’s pigmentation on the body, it’s just the eyes that are excluded)

here she is (made using picrew which I'll link in the reply)

she took a beating when she got kidnapped, she was lucky she didn't lose her eyesight (I learned that traumatized eyes can sometimes lose pigmentation)

I have pretty heavy hyper-pigmentation on a lot of parts of my skin and the one in the middle of my chest makes me look like an anime character with a backstory where I got stabbed and am now undead

Are you making this mistake?

Many don't apply sunscreen to their eyelids. From shielding you from post-inflammatory to protecting you from cancer, check out why you should not neglect this: https://t.co/P6rL2gmbuC via

You *are* too fluffy for your own good, so you get to be a fluffy dino! Meet Sinosauropteryx! This tiny relative of Compsognathus lived in the Early Cretaceous, and thanks to fossilized pigmentation proteins found in its floofy feathers, we can know what colour it was!

"Day 9 of Embryonic Development. The subject's fur has now developed unique pigmentation with a codominant phenotypic presentation of black and red. Habitual movement remains uninterrupted, and no other abnormalities are visible..."

To save you the trouble of zooming in
Also leucism (roughly pronounced like look + ism) is a pigmentation defect where most of the melanin is just not there
It's different from albinism since leucism does still have melanin notably in the eyes
