14.) Key the metal idol
one of my faves. A mix of mecha, conspiracies and "idol" (actually the idol came much later). It had interesting themes and plot, and it's unexpectedly cozy (in a gloomy way).
The pacing can be handled better. But it doesn't deter the quality too much

Who needs plot when you got banger mecha design, pretty moebius art style and cool world designs.

But in every other category, this series pretty much excels.
The OST is incredible.
The story, characters, and plot are super well-crafted and emotionally & mentally engaging.

concept for a slice of life following the Hogg family in thier home town in Florida after the witch war,
plot circles around a bunch of local Florida weirdos & friends, their hobbies and bizarre going ons in the sunshine state
not everything needs a plot twist but I think this one probably needs it the most. The titular machine/job doesn't get much screentime. Plus idol's girl problem is just limited to mommy cult issues when they could do even more
watched psycho diver (1997) today.
It's cursed lmao, the plot pacing is so fast, the characters are disposable, "stuff happens"
one thing I like is the art style, direction and background art (and the 90s hip hop bop). Feels like this is an excuse to show aesthetic.

Literally the best game ever made. Toby Fox himself said Ghost Trick had the best plot/concept out of any game he'd played so far. I must agree, it is completely unique yet so instinctive and fun
