It's more polished than the first but still jank.
I don't how to use the new mechanics but it's still a similar experience with more characters, I still love the concept of "weapons fighter", they got real creative with some of the new ones.

The older version of the Aurorian GR-06B rifle is a bit clunky and some part feels a little fragile, so here's a more polished, revised version of the rifle.
In lore it's more or less easier to manufacture and has a simplified system, while retaining the same manual of arms
This game is very barebone story wise but the whole franchise got a lot of lore, I know cuz I watched a 6 hours long video on it.
I like the game's feel and cast a lot. The gameplay feels pretty polished and unique from other 3D FGs but that's not why people remember this game...
I didn't expect the time skip at all, it's like each-sequel does something drastic with the story.
The game feels much faster and polished, it's not outdated anymore. I'm not big on the aesthetic and music tho, I liked the old game's better.
Also King 2's fit is fresh as hell.

1st picture was a very rough draft while second is a more polished thumbnail. I had to remove some elements from the second because it was too overwhelming in the canvas 🌻🐐

With this drawing, I took the opportunity to try different brushes and had a lot of fun doing it, while at the same time practicing convincing myself that not all my art has to be incredibly detailed and polished🤗
