The main reason is: reducing printing costs. A lot of printers only give options to print either in Color or Monochrome (black and white). If you paint with gray, you have to print it in color which is going to cost WAY more than just printing in monochrome.
I've been redesigning old Sticker models (more than the ones I already made) and I had intentions of making more, but with the Comicon I had to send them to the printer.
Anyway, in the future I will make more for other events.
