The Breguet Br. 960 was a mixed propulsion Propeller/Turbojet aircraft designed in 1947 for the French Navy, it made its first flight in 1951. The aircraft, finally too heavy, was stripped of its turbojet engine and was produced after an heavy redesign under the name "Alizé".
The Focke Wulf P 03-10 was a covert German Nazi mixed-propulsion project that remained at this stage. The Douglas XA-42 Mixmaster had a similar architecture but appears to be a standalone Douglas design

Another one from Japan's @JAXA_en: #EQUULEUS, a 6U #cubesat, will test a water propulsion system with low thrust to keep orbit bt Earth & Luna, from where it
observes Earth's plasmasphere + doing some lunar flybys in the Earth-moon region.
Meet the Jetsune!
It blows an intense stream of hot air out of it's ears much like jet propulsion. This paired with its wings allow it to fly and Maneuver! The body is metallic, yet oddly fluffy. It measures at about 20'8" in length.
(Thanks @ausmacon for the sketch I colored)

Remember to get your fire works from Acme Rocket 🚀 Co. in Calista’s Citadel, RUNEIVERSE, Web3 ! The number 1# name in magical propulsion! @forgottenrunes #frwc Happy 4th of July!!!
It's time to marvel at @SalmonTheKing's "Tunguska Vermillion" space cruiser.
Smart use of liquid droplet 'sails', Curie point 'smokestacks', UREB cannons and nuclear pulse propulsion, it achieves a sailing aesthetic while staying rigorously realistic.

Avian Runner - Built for front end propulsion + stability
Main Sector of use - Agriculture
Mermay Day 18 - Salp
Salps are gelatinous, transparent marine beings that drift through the ocean together in long, linear colonies. It moves by pumping water through its body - one of the most efficient users of jet propulsion on earth.
@KorbiniteScion @WorthyDeity @WulfOfHel @JenovasLegacy @MlNOSPRlME @LEEGE0N_ @adogjuja Even in this distance, the single command was all the Dragon Bones needed. Their float transitioned into a high-speed propulsion at their aggressor. An acute sentience allowed their varying figures to weave and adjust around Bill and Thor to focus on Septhiroth.
Former earwax agent of Buck Rogers unceremoniously removed from retirement on the moon in '69 is back to embark on a mission once again. This time, it's personal.
A master of disguise & F.A.R.T propulsion,
he always has a plan & will self-destruct trying.

☄️ "Bicycle Day 2099" ☄️️
A pretty nifty apparatus! It's called the Jellyfish Drifter.
The engine bends gravity around itself, allowing it to hover & glide through the air & water with minimal propulsion. Would you take it for a spin? #digitalart #bicycleday #lsd #cyberpunk
Sometimes you can doggie paddle, other times you gotta use your butthole for jet propulsion 🤷🏻♀️
Shoutout to @karlathemoel for this excellent fact and Jan Hamrsky for taking the pic I used for reference for this here doodle
