In less than a week, Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition releases.
The original game was as critically acclaimed as any Final Fantasy was on PS1. Definitely one of this years RPG highlights, even if it isn't a completely new game.

For those watching, cause the subtitles were inaccurate, the vibe I thought it reminded me of was Tomba (Tombi in the UK), an awesome 2.5D Platformer on the PS1. Anyway, Demon Turf is super fun, you should definitely check it out!
Then we have of course, Final Fantasy VII. I first played this on my neighbor's PC, back probably in 97 when it was released on that, before playing it on PS1. Currently playing Remake and it is SO GOOD. Anyway, FFVII was one of those games just pressed all the right buttons then

I always wanted to make mega man legends esque character models. The characters always felt super expressive despite being super low poly and built for the ps1. Saying a lot with little.
65th Completion of 2021 - Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure on the #PS1. A light-hearted, beautiful and genuinely funny #TacticsRPG. I laughed out loud a few times playing this. 👍
