and then I dug up my latest Amy render's model and made an alt for her to directly link with Sonic
A little correction though, the splash render is actually in cycles! That said, it's kind of a moot distinction; EEVEE's been proving great for final render's. Here's a side by side (I didn't even optimize it for eevee- just a few irradiance volumes). 10 min vs 10 seconds
@sopeSSBM I notice that a lot of recreations give him extremely puffy cheeks, is that intentional?
Because I look back at the SM64 renders a ton and I don't really see them as large as many replications make em', though that could just be each render's perspective.
@mariokarttourEN Monty's render is kind of a yellowish brown.. shading looks a little off too. His nose and teeth look like a gradient. Compared to Faedai, his render's just not the same quality.. he's simpler in design, but past renders of him have certainly "popped" more than this one.

i thought sonic's Smash Bros. Ultimate render's pose look like something out of a Sonic Adventure game, so i did just that--redrew it like it was from an Adventure game!
