'Shuting down'. The power of my inner voice is far greater than the will of others to silence it by humiliating me. I can't sit in silence anymore.Imagine what it feels for a child who does not understand growing up autistic.

This is not a sad thread. I hope it may inspire others or remind us that even though we may say we are OK, this truly might not be the case. Sometimes we might struggle to verbalise or demonstrate how we truly feel to others and that we just need somebody to be there.
