Thor, Loki etc have pretty much become household names.
I want the same to happen to Hindu mythology as it has a lot of unique concepts and stories. I'm doing my part by fusing them with modern palettes and sensibility!

For Cyclops, I picked 忠, devotion and loyalty to a cause. For Wolverine, I picked 义, justice and sensibility to do good.

Devotion without sensibility can lead to blind faith, and justice without cause can lead to self-righteousness.

I was so overwhelmed by the huge and surreal art work! 🐙 Charlie Brown of PEANUTS made so many peek holes in the white cloth as a Halloween costume. A very unique sensibility and anarchy humor that is different from other people are burned into people's hearts...👻🎃

Reworked the still life under I did at the Dojo. love the fresh, loose, abstract sensibility of the underpainting but took it just that much further. Might go back and paint a loose again :) Oil over acrylic 18”x12”
