I miss drawing my characters as freely as I used to. Years of depression, battling imposter syndrome, and creative block tend to take a toll on your drawings. I’m glad that I have my old sketchbooks. I still love them very much

@redwingseries I've sketched out different parts of the story over several years in a bunch of sketchbooks. There was no real order, just drawing panels/scenes. Then I scan/crop panels and arrange them in the best order for dialogue. Then I work on line art -> color -> water color objects/bgs.

Been doing some progress. Instead of thinking how disabling the pain is I started doing stuff I couldn't do before: like reading/playing games/using sketchbooks.
To overcome my fear of pain I began doing these short studies on my handhelds. Now I can use 3DS again!
