I really enjoyed most of these films, but I feel Tom and Jerry:The Movie would’ve been better if they made the 90’s movie closer to the charm and slapstick,over-the-top feel of the original 40’s cartoon skits and let Tom and Jerry be themselves and not have them talk.

What I love so much about Tatsugiri and Dondozo is how they have the cartoon dynamic of the smaller, frailer, brainer, slapstick-prone schemer who gets the hard work done by the bigger, strong, not all that bright but not too bad a guy once you get to know him henchmen.
