@Formorphology I can't get enough of front-facing spinosaurids, lol. They're just so goofy and fun to draw.
A subadult #Spinosaurus wanders into the territory of a larger, more aggressive male and faces the consequences. Haven't seen much palaeoart of intraspecific fights featuring spinosaurids so this was fun to draw.

More memes instead of palaeoart, I'm totally not procrastinating.
But for real, spinosaurids are the best and if you disagree you suck and are also wrong 😤😤😤 https://t.co/9mDBVj8EWP
More material of Irritator was discovered giving insight on its appearance where it even had a sail, akin to other spinosaurids. Irritator was estimated to have measured 20 to 26 feet in length and weighed 1 ton, making it a small spinosaurid. Art by @FredtheDinoman
The virgin Tyrannosaurids: Some were big and bulky, some were slender and fast, but overall the same concept.
The chad Spinosaurids:
Extra food for thought on Spinosaurus, the caudal material we have from other spinosaurids doesn't really preclude a similar condition...
Spinosaurus, requested by @Mental_Autopsy and @shiojaesk! Colours (loosely) based on sockeye salmon. I always felt that Spinosaurids didn’t get enough love!
And no, I’m clearly not against making colorful dinosaurs. I just think it depends on what story you’re trying to promote with the species you’re illustrating.
In this case, spinosaurids evolved these huge sails and characteristic skull crests. What for? Probs display.
Gift for @hibiscushydra of our spinosaurids!
Spinosaurus and Baryonyx bbys! 🦖🐟
I hope you like it!! 🌺
Unique fossils of the spinosaurids Oxalaia and Irritator are probably lost in the fire of the National Museum in Rio De Janeiro 🇧🇷

Today’s quick sketch. Baryonyx walkeri fishing lunch. Like other Spinosaurids, Baryonyx had a very elongated snout and powerful arms with very long claws. Very different from the Baryonyx that appeared recently in the #JurassicWorldFallenKingdom trailer #paleoart #dinosaurs
