The Nativity play went on: Takuan played the role of the messenger from the Empire, whereas Wasabi played Joseph.
My recent self-discovery : if Takuan wore a red shirt, his appearance from behind might be like somebody else.
Someone giving Takuan to the Vicecommander.
His hairstyle is HARD to draw btw https://t.co/58ck7SlFem
"Preoccupied with a single leaf, you won't see the tree. Preoccupied with a single tree, you'll miss the entire forest. Don't be preoccupied with a single spot. See everything in its entirety. Effortlessly. That is what it means to truly "see"."

All started at Wasabi's question 'what is Christmas?', though Takuan thought Wasabi had not been so serious about he claimed about himself.
Takuan saw his friend Wasabi seeking something so eagerly as to shed tears, and thought he needed himself such a passion. Either of them showed distinct reactions to Jesus' word, that his human disciples, at least John, should be surprised to see.
Wasabi claimed that to see God is the most essential thing they should seek. Takuan was surprised to see Wasabi shedding tears.
Wasabi looked to got from Jesus' question something about the kingdom of God. Takuan went closer to him, which Latte and Flora did not hinder.
Wasabi was about to tell to the man how they felt his idea as strange, but Takuan thought it better that they should let him think as he like, which would do no harm to others.
Flora described how Wasabi and Takuan smelled. The both enjoyed their difference.
Wasabi supposed Judas' fellows might avoid him because he often makes alarming comments about the wrath of God. Takuan agreed, but he thought Judas need not to change his topic merely to increase the number of his friends.
