Tamlen always loved reading. The novels his father brought home from the cities took him on adventures he couldn’t have dreamed of. Reading is still something he enjoys as an adult - ironically to distract himself of the not-so-rosy reality of adventures and heroism.

Tamlen’s ears are quite sensitive - to the touch, but also, of course, to noises. On the downside though, his ears are also very expressive and turn bright red when he is flustered or embarrassed - both things he can’t really hide that easily.
