Base it off of the first four issues, Meet The Terrifics 1, 2, 3, and The Girl From Bgtzl! I think it would be a great and fun adventure story that wouldn’t need too much comic lore to depend on for its basis, and it could fit a great family friendly vibe!
Something I find funny is that in the Emperor Joker storyline, when Joker’s messed with the JLA (which includes Plas), he ends up kind of looking like what Disposable Man/Bizarro Plastic Man would look like in Terrifics. Even the shading makes his costume look black and white!

They lack soul.
I mean, i loved the terrifics and damage, but they are issues with how they marketed and sold them

But it is hard to get comics outside of shops and most corpos only market their big sellers most.
But notice how indie groups have made iconic new heroes
Its just corpos are out of touch
For fun, here’s some designs I did a while back with a concept of Plastic Man having a Green Lantern ring, and a Red Lantern ring. Both suits are mainly inspired by Doc Shaner’s Plastic Man design for The Terrifics, mixed with a traditional Green & Red Lantern look, respectively

I’d say Kyle Baker’s run from 2003, and The Terrifics. Both are at the opposite ends of the Plas spectrum, with Baker’s being a Golden Age tinged highly comedic and cartoony run (though a bit too satiric at times) and Terrifics being a great modern, adventurous superhero comic https://t.co/9lx4s9N6EA
