I think thumbnailing means I draw more head space. I'm conflicted, because I like the anatomy i draw for my thumbnails. More torso space and longer legs.

It's a lot less of the Sonicy proportions i had before.

since is it only a color sketch I kind of merge things on the go, the main goal is to plan out colors, lighting, and mood

detailing will be easy as I already worked out the overall look of the painting

Yeah I love the "Flat 2" brush that I thínk came from a Goro Fujita set? It's just a vertical stripe with some texture on the bottom, but it works really well for envi's when rotated 90 degrees and I like to squish it down into a blocky shape for sketching / thumbnailing
