I think thumbnailing means I draw more head space. I'm conflicted, because I like the anatomy i draw for my thumbnails. More torso space and longer legs.
It's a lot less of the Sonicy proportions i had before.
T' was a busy day, so have a sketch I made another day, a little teaser for a project and self study that I want to do! Thumbnailing landscapessss
photostudies - takin it easy before the new year and doing more sketching and thumbnailing and practice, hope everyone has a great new year's eve/day!

i could never be a professional artist because i hate thumbnailing and palette swapping. i just. do it. and want it done lol i go with the first one that works

Next big passion project. Already up to 15 panels planned and still thumbnailing tomorrow. Self indulgence babyyyy!
explored and figured out peaches today for my turnarounds. 2 left of main cast and then i'll get to thumbnailing sprites to stick directly in-engine so i can finish scornhorn in my lifetime. its not too much more to see a script complete rough build if I just get assets in lmfao
since is it only a color sketch I kind of merge things on the go, the main goal is to plan out colors, lighting, and mood
detailing will be easy as I already worked out the overall look of the painting
it's a bit like thumbnailing
I guess I have 2 styles for Mul! One that's more of a cartoonised description I can probably include in my webcomic (once I make it in a few years), the other is the one I used when thumbnailing the comic I used to work on! https://t.co/ekxbG9drAq
new speciea
not suuper happy with how this one (especially the colors) turned out but i think it came out decent given the lack of planning
i guess if anything it goes to show how important thumbnailing first is lol
+ bonus initial concept sketches https://t.co/82pOF2dKFY
Simplification and Thumbnailing: A small thread of self-critique and improvement. -I set out on this small project to create a new avatar. In the end I made a cool piece, but it's too busy. When I tested it in smaller scales, you couldn't tell just what it IS. -Continued
@momatoes Yeah I love the "Flat 2" brush that I thínk came from a Goro Fujita set? It's just a vertical stripe with some texture on the bottom, but it works really well for envi's when rotated 90 degrees and I like to squish it down into a blocky shape for sketching / thumbnailing
