Uuugh, so let's cover that stickmen and 2012 stuff... I mean it could count as but these old fanarts are just better.
Trivia you probably missed: I simply love how the trachea "curves" in the bird neck, and I added that detail in Doduo and Dodrio.

And you wonder and go Hazard! How can this normal looking animal produce such a unique and beautiful sound? And I go, well sir you see, it’s all in it’s exceptionally long trachea in the manucode species!

in 1888, Sir Ivan Magill was born in Larne, Ireland. He is best known as a pioneer of endotracheal anaesthesia. His name lives on in his forceps, tubes and circuits used by anaesthetists. Cheers to Ivan!

The Mallampati score is used to predict the ease of endotracheal intubation. Named after anesthesiologist Seshagiri Mallampati who described his study of 210 patients in 1985, after earlier publishing a letter describing a difficult intubation in a woman with a large tongue.

After a long battle with a collapsing trachea, my pomeranian dog, Baby Bear, has passed away this morning while in my arms. She was just over 15 years old and had a good, comfortable, and pampered life. I'll miss her so, so much.

When the T. rex roars at Grant, we get a great view inside of her mouth. The anatomy appears to match the details illustrated by Greg Paul – there’s what looks like a tracheal aperture at the base of the tongue, and possibly a choana.

There is a small opening in the trochanter, which serves as a tunnel for tracheae and nerves and facilitates hemolymph transfer between body and legs. In 2011 we wrote a study about this joint: https://t.co/mVC5l9itc4
