#MonsterHunter Musings. One of these is classified as a Flying Wyvern. The other is a Bird Wyvern. Fictional biology is weird stuff, man. (Also, Capcom, please bring back Ukanlos for #MonsterHunterRise . Absolute Zero is too banger of a theme to not get a remake. Thanks~)

Fav Flying Wyvern: Is it cheating to say Ukanlos? His design, armors, music, and MH4U intro is just so badass. That opening gives me chills!

Sadly, there is no fossil evidence of this monster. It's believed that Akantor and Ukanlos could be closely related to it in some form since they both share many primitive features with ancient Flying Wyverns like Sherureusu and Tigrex.

Here's the ecological tree for all of the Flying Wyverns.

1. Akantor
Order: Saurischia (竜盤目)
Suborder: Unknown (不明)
Family: Akan (アカム科)

2. Ukanlos
Order: Saurischia
Suborder: Unknown
Family: Ukan (ウカム科)

While Akantor is called the Black God and Ukanlos is called the White God, Odibatorasu is considered to be the Sand God. It is a Flying Wyvern like them but lacks wings despite being in the class, and scholars often argue about which of these three are larger.
