I watch the French version of Spirou 06 episode 19 Zantafio says "maudit" So I know from English it means cursed but it also has others meanings, The one that got me was damned. So I like to think he's actually saying damned cause it funnier🤣

I actually found it the date of “Spirou et les héritiers” which was the very fist appearance of Zantafio it was 7/26/1951 the story was published in the Spirou magazine first as comic cereals it was later put in a full book the next year 1952 Happy B-dat Zantafio!🎂
