Since the N.sane vs CB4 artstyle topic has come up again, I really feel like the remakes could have looked looked a million times better if they actually aimed at recreating Zembillas art style in 3d, instead of just using the ps1 graphics and simply just making it more detailed.

Here we see some early art of Spyro. The first is of Craig Stitt's initial design, which would later be dropped in favour of Zembillas' design, seen in the rest of the images. Spyro's original green colour scheme can also be seen here, as well as a colour diagram used for Spyro 2

I like how in some of Zembillas' old artwork Crash has a tail, they probably got rid of it because of console limitations but it would be cool to se him like this in action.

Great work on the design of Crash! In the Naughty Dog games, They seem to design to look like he's wearing folded cuff jeans. Zembillas design usually give Crash more of a low crotch pants look.

Seeing how Beenox appears to be creating a new character for CTR's upcoming Christmas GP.

I would actually like to see them try to reinvent these unused character designs from Charles Zembillas' concept art for Crash 1.
